You will also have the chance to learn from Cooper & Gorfer´s feedback to all the other participants as well. A great learning opportunity which we highly recommend.
You will get access to short videos with tips on how to find the right light for portrait photography, success and failures when shooting and understanding the importance of finding a good location. Additionally a closed Facebook group will be available where you get advice, can share images as well as get feedback and ideas from the other participants.
Cooper & Gorfer comprises the artists Sarah Cooper from the US and Nina Gorfer from Austria. They are storytellers of the highest level, masters of color and work by heart.
The artist duo investigate different cultures and myths with great curiosity. Based on the stories and lives of the women they meet and collaborate with, Sarah and Nina s explore issues of memory, migration, dislocation, and the malleability of identity. The artist duo are known for their distinctive hybrid portraits.

ENTER THE WORLD OF STORYTELLING
Create PHOTOGRAPHIC STORIES with meaning and EMOTIONS.
Join world class photographer Julia Fullerton-Batten for her first online workshop and you have the opportunity to find your own photographic voice. During the four weeks, you can dive deep into the infinite mysteries of photography and let yourself be carried away by Julia Fullerton-Batten videos and lectures.
She is energetic in everything she does and has a delicate and honest way of reviewing your photographs. She will provide you with suggestions on how to recognize what is good in a photograph and give you good advice for what needs to be improved. Even the smallest details are important and now you will gain plenty of knowledge about making a photograph perfect.
Julia is a fine art photographer as well as a commercial photographer. She has deep knowledge about the two different worlds and will discuss how to create story telling projects for those with limited budgets.
Julia is full of energy, charming, and a great storyteller. She is influenced by the big art-masters from the renaissance up until todays artists and will teach you how she uses this in her own photographs. She often built a new session on an old history -you need a story to tell! she says.
